Free Parenting Program Coming to ECSD Communities

Elko County School District is partnering with Raising Highly Capable Kids to offer a free, 13-week parenting course in Elko, Jackpot, Owyhee, Wells, and West Wendover.

The course will be taught by our own ECSD school professionals and is open to parents and guardians with children enrolled in ECSD—at no cost.

We’re still finalizing dates for each community and would love to hear what days and times work best for you. MVE Families! As you are preparing to return to school, PLEASE take the time to label all personal items with student names. Jackets, lunch bags, water bottles...we want to help lost items get returned to their owners and this will be a HUGE help!

Can you believe the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL is here already? What an amazing year, Eagles! The last day of school for the 2024-2025 school year is is June 5, 2025. Students will be released at 1:50pm. Happy summer to our amazing MVE community! We will see you next (school) year!
