The Wells Leopards will welcome Varsity Opponent at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Wells is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home dating back to last season.
Wells is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Carlin, who was ranked fifth in their home state at the time (Wells was ranked 12th). Wells lost 50-28 to Carlin last Thursday.
Despite the loss, Wells had strong showings from Gage Uhlig, who picked up eight receiving yards and two touchdowns, and Johnny Glascock, who picked up 78 receiving yards and a touchdown. Glascock didn't just play on offense: he also made 11 total tackles and defended a pass.
Wells wouldn't let Carlin keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Joe Dahl was the leader in that area as all came courtesy of his dominant performance.
Meanwhile, Varsity Opponent was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 27-20 to Riverside Christian.
Wells' loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Varsity Opponent, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-51.

Inside Out-Class Color Dress up Day was Monday. Each class was assigned a color/character from Inside Out.
