Mrs. Willis Principal

Kim Willis has been an educator for 30 years, right here at Mountain View Elementary. She graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. Mrs. Willis has a master’s degree from Lesley University in Curriculum and Instruction, and a master’s degree from Grand Canyon University in Educational Administration. Kim has worked with students in grades K-6, as well, as the Response to Intervention (RTI) teacher at Mountain View and RTI Coordinator for the District. She has been involved in many State and District committees that support teachers and student’s education.

Mrs. Willis enjoys spending time with her family. She has two grown children, Mirinda Jones and Trevor Hutton, both of whom are married. Her husband, Larry, is retired and helps out around the house. She has three dogs, Smudge, Picasso, and Big. And don’t forget the hermit crabs! Mrs. Willis loves to learn. She enjoys sitting in her backyard enjoying the flowers, birds, and the sounds of the waterfall in their pond.
